It leans sweet and jammy, like blueberry muffins or pie filling, rather than tart fresh berries. It is a scent created for the balm, so it won't taste like real blueberries, and it is meant for your lips only.

Is this blueberry lip balm moisturizing enough for winter?

It is a rich balm, and beeswax plus shea butter make a good pair when cold air and indoor heating dry your lips out. Apply a thin layer before heading outside and a slightly thicker one at night. If cracks don't improve within about two weeks, see a doctor.

Can people with bee allergies use it?

We would recommend another product. This balm contains beeswax, a bee-derived ingredient, so it isn't suitable if you are allergic to bees, pollen or propolis. It also contains hazelnut and coconut oils. Discontinue use if you notice irritation.

Why use the honey dipper instead of my finger?

The dipper keeps fingers out of the jar, which helps keep the balm cleaner, and it picks up just the right amount. Each order includes two applicators, so a spare is ready if one breaks. Replacement 3-packs are available too.
